Lois McMaster Bujold

This may be my favorite book she has written. I read it over a decade ago, so I didn't remember hardly anything. I really like damaged heroes.

Quite good. I wish we had more of the main character from the first book, but that's not Lois' style. Again, it is a bit girly, but that just adds some variety.

It's Lois McMaster Bujold, so it's girly sci-fi, but it's good. What I mean by girly is that there is marital matchmaking and the majority of the plot is focused on the protagonist's baby.
